New England's Best: Best Yoga Studio

You can align your chakras at our 3rd place winner. Yoga In Melrose. Instructors here will have you working your body, while clearing your mind.

 Danette Gilliatt, Yoga In Melrose
"You might walk in the door for the physical but you might end up getting the spiritual, emotional out of it."

But that doesn't mean you won't get a good physical workout…

Danette Gilliatt, Yoga In Melrose
"You probably are going to be sorer than you were lifting weights."

Classes here are taught in the Vinyasa style, an active form of yoga that favors fluid movement over static poses.

Danette Gilliatt, Yoga In Melrose
"It's really great for people who are high strung cause you just keep moving. You kind of forget about what was driving you crazy when you walked through the door."

It's getting hot in here. At our second place winner, Yogaduzit in Allston and Cambridge. Here, all classes are held in a sweat inducing 98-degrees studio.

Lauren Fawcett, Yogaduzit
"You have no choice you're going to have to sweat. And as you start to sweat, you start to clean."

The hot yoga classes are taught in the Bikrim or Vinyasa styles. And everyone's welcome to participate.

 Lauren Fawcett, Yogaduzit
"It's targeted toward people of all abilities, all levels, all ages all desires.

Instructors at Yogaduzit bend over backwards to make sure everyone has a positive experience.

Lauren Fawcett, Yogaduzit
"They walk around class and verbally instruct, while paying attention to the beginning student and helping them along their way."
