It's no secret celebrities pay big bucks for "one of a kind" clothes-bags and even perfume, in fact-prince rainier had a signature scent commissioned for his bride Grace Kelly on their wedding day. But you don't have to be a princess or a star to have a personal perfume, and Holly Shuman is looking for a scent that's all her own.

"I wore one fragrance for years and about 5 or 6 years ago I swapped to a new one."

So Neil Morris of Neil Morris fragrances in Boston is going to create Holly a personalized perfume by mixing together fragrant oils.

"This is very exciting for me."

"It takes about an hour to an hour and a half."

He creates a custom blend is by first asking a series of simple questions.

"Walk on the beach or walk in a field of flowers?"

"On a beach."

Neil Morris
"And that sort of gives me a scent direction."

Your likes, dislikes, even your memories all make-up a perfume personality.

"What is your happiest memory form childhood? You want to make sure you are getting the memories the positive the happy memories that people have and you want to include them in scent."

Then it's over to his collection of exotic oils and fragrances from all over the world. He selects between ten and 25 different ones to blend together.

"And then I have a person sniff each bottle and have them tell me yes no or maybe."

Sniff "yes"

Holly chooses the aroma's she likes-- and then Neil blends them together on her wrist one by one creating the perfect perfume.

"Isn't that beautiful?"

"Oh I love it."

After it's finished, it's bottled, named and ready to wear.

"It's the real you...you in a bottle, ha ha."

So what does she think?

"I love it, I say it's me."

Neil says the best part of a custom fragrance? You never have to worry about someone stealing your scent!

"But you come here and have a scent made for yourself that's yours forever."

While Neil's customer base is primarily women, he does blend for men as well.

Neil also blends fragrance for lotions and shower gels. The initial session costs $350.
