Natick residents to NStar: bury high-voltage wires

NATICK, Mass. -- Residents who claim NStar is posing a potential danger to their children rallied against the power company Saturday.

NStar plans to activate nearly one mile of high-voltage wires next month.

Residents are pressuring the company to bury those wires underground in order to eliminate health risks caused by unsafe levels of Electromagnetic Fields.

The power lines are at the edge of several Natick homeowners’ property.

These residents say they will create a health risk and could also damage property values of their homes.
