Mother of teen who died discusses dangers of underage drinking

Kathi Meyer is trying to make sure what happened to her daughter doesn't happen to anyone else.
Meyer spoke with students during the day and turned to parents at night, telling them it is their responsibility to talk to their children.
"They found my Taylor, 24 inches of water, face down," Meyer said. "Twenty four inches of water face down in a swamp."
Taylor Meyer's body was found three days after she wandered from an underage drinking party behind the Norfolk airport.
"If I had ever seen Taylor's Facebook, I would have had a heart attack. [On] there, every single friend on that thing has beer cans, and party after party, with dates and dates," Meyer said.
Parents and students who attended the forum at Attleboro High were touched by Meyer's words.
"I couldn't live without my mom and I'm sure she couldn't live without me and the fact that Kathi has to go through that everyday, it really gets to you," said one student.
Meyer talked about driving home with her daughter's portrait in the front seat.
"Please talk to your kids; it's the most important thing you can do," Meyer urged.
Police reminded parents that there is a zero tolerance policy and they will be quick to prosecute moving forward.
