Police arrest bank robber in Boston cab

BOSTON -- Police arrested an alleged bank robber in a cab in Boston on Thursday morning.
The suspect robbed the Sovereign Bank on Massachusetts Avenue and then hailed a cab for his getaway.
Two police officers on a detail stopped the cab at a construction site and arrested Glenn Carbonneau, 35, of Quincy.
He was charged with robbery, assault and battery on a police officer, and resisting arrest.
The taxi driver had no idea that a criminal was in his backseat.
