Woburn man nearly hit by tree while grilling

WOBURN, Mass. -- A man enjoying an evening barbeque experienced a brush with disaster during Saturday's storm when a falling tree destroyed his grill.
Michael Amoroso was grilling a steak when high winds began whipping through his neighborhood. Sensing that bad weather loomed, Amoroso moved the steak off his grill, walked inside, and watched from a window as a tree came crashing down on top of the grill, his son's car, and the chair he had been sitting in just thirty seconds ago.
"Pouring rain came down, a windstorm, I walked into the house with the steak and boom!," said Amoroso. "I was thirty seconds from being crushed."
Nearly six years ago, Amoroso also appeared on 7News when another tree fell into a neighbor's house.
