BOSTON -- Before the luggage pulled from a Delta Airlines flight hit the baggage carousel, one Logan airport baggage handler experienced a surprise encounter with a stingy stowaway.
The ticketless passenger happened to be a scorpion.
After being stung by the pesky traveler, the airline employee was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital where doctors said the sting was not poisonous.
The baggage handler is already back on the job.
The Delta airline had previously stopped at New York's JFK airport.
