Celtics season ticket holders to get special access at local hospital

BOSTON -- Celtics season ticket holders are set to get more access to doctors at one local hospital.
New England Baptist Hospital has been the official hospital of the Boston Celtics for the last 23 years.
Now, the hospital wants to connect with fans. It’s a first program of its kind.
Ticket holders will get a letter in the mail with a direct contact number to the team’s medical coordinator who is also a hospital nurse.
He will do a phone assessment and make a referral.
“We’re in the process of rolling it out, so that when a season ticket holder has a problem that may require a visit to the hospital that they have someone to call they get some personalized attention and get treated like an NBA player,” said Rich Gotham, President, Boston Celtics.
Those who are not season ticket holders will not be left on the sidelines. Anyone can call the hospital’s main referral line and get the same treatment.
