Man shot in Dorchester

BOSTON -- A man was seriously injured after being shot around 11:30 p.m. Friday on Bernard Street in Dorchester.

The victim was shot in the back and multiple bullet casings were found around him.

Police are still investigating but say the victim may not survive given the extent of his injuries.

Investigators are searching for a large, gold-colored SUV in the area.
