Romney wraps self in Reagan lingo

ST. LOUIS -- Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney said he supports the "Ronald Reagan way" during his speech last night at the GOP's annual Missouri Lincoln Days conference.
Romney said Reagan came along in 1982 with the attitude that America needed to lower taxes and regulations to make it easier for businesses to thrive.
He said he believes the current Democratic presidential contenders would enact bigger government, higher taxes, more protectionism and increased isolationism.
Romney plans to formally announce his presidential candidacy Tuesday.
Romney's had a full schedule of state Republican conferences. He's been in Kentucky and Alabama and was in Michigan earlier yesterday.
