Scaffolding collapses at the Northshore Mall, injures pregnant woman

PEABODY, Mass. -- Scaffolding collapsed at the Northshore Mall in Peabody Wednesday morning, leaving a 20 by 20 foot hole in the Gap store ceiling.

No one was on the structure when it fell, but a pregnant woman in the Gap store received minor injuries.

The call came in at about 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

Workers have been tearing down the former Macy's building to make way for a Nordstrom's.
