BOSTON -- Opponents of Governor Patrick's plan to bring casino gambling to Massachusetts are joining forces.

A coalition of casino opponents will hold a news conference at the State House tomorrow to unveil their plans.

The group will be led by Rich Young, who has led opposition to a casino in the town of Middleborough, where the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe owns land and wants to build.

Young's group CasinoFacts-dot-Org was created to stop the Middleborough casino.

On that Web site, Young reports he'll be president of the new statewide organization, which he says comprises religious groups, mental health professionals, business groups and social service agencies.

Patrick says three resort casinos would generate hundreds of millions of dollars in new revenue for the state.
