Couple sought in laptop thefts

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Police are looking for a man and woman who have helped themselves to thousands of dollars in laptop computers from Wal-Mart stores.

They say the two somehow defeated the locks on storage cases, took laptops to a different section of the store and removed them from their packaging, so they could smuggle them out of the store without setting off security alarms.

Police say the two have stolen more than a dozen laptops.
