Police: Man exposes himself to pedestrians

ANDOVER, Mass. -- A North Andover man was arrested Thursday after police say he drove around naked, jumping out of his car and exposing himself to pedestrians, one of them a 16-year-old girl.

Salvatore Ciarametaro, 37, allegedly told officers he undressed while in Harold Parker State Forest and decided to drive around the Route 125 area nude.

Ciarametaro, of North Andover, is charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior and concealing a license plate to hide his identity.

Police believe there could be as many as a half dozen victims.

The 16-year-old who encountered the man on Stinson Road, called it in to police, providing his license plate number and a description of the man.

Ciarametaro has a record of exposing himself, according to police.

Ciarametaro pled not guilty in Lawrence District Court Friday. He must remain drug and alcohol free and receive sex offender counseling. He also will be required to wear a GPS bracelet.
