Boston parishes to stay open late during Lent

BOSTON -- The Archdiocese of Boston is leaving the light on for confession.

Every parish and chapel will be open extra hours for confession every Wednesday during Lent, according to the Patriot Ledger.

The new program is called "The Light Is On For You."

The added times are 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Wednesday through March 31.
