Report: Red Sox actively pursuing trade for Roy Halladay

BOSTON -- The New York Daily News reports the Red Sox are making a strong push to acquire Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay.

A source told the paper the Sox want to have the deal wrapped up in the next couple of weeks.

Toronto would likely ask for Clay Buchholz in any trade for Halladay.

Halladay has a no-trade clause, and would want big contract extension before approving any trade.
