Bruins recall D Hunwick from AHL affiliate

BOSTON -- The Boston Bruins recalled defenseman Matt Hunwick from their AHL affiliate in Providence today for the third time this season.

Hunwick was assigned to Providence yesterday and played in the club's 3-2 victory over the Hartford Wolfpack.

The former seventh-round pick in the 2004 draft, Hunwick does not have a point in two games with the Bruins this year. He has four assists in 12 games with Providence.

The Bruins play host to the New York Islanders tomorrow.
