Towel Please!
We went swimming for the first time this summer and I didn't want to get out of the pool! Not only because the water was perfect and I could swim all day, but because the towel wasn't close by enough and it was chilly getting out of the water! Dewpoints were only in the mid 40s so you had to dry off to feel warm again. The air was just so dry! Today, dewpoints will be in the mid 50s, so the air is still dry, but not as dry as yesterday.
Today and tomorrow will be just like yesterday with sunny skies and highs in the mid 80s. Sea breezes will keep the coast closer to 80°. The heat and humidity start building Friday and we'll be up around 90° through the weekend. Pop-up thunderstorms will start developing Sunday afternoon/evening and more storms are possible Monday and Tuesday evenings as well.
Other than that...enjoy the summer!!

Come On Ride The Train

Heavy rain is on the move! All afternoon long it was stalled over Western Massachusetts and Connecticut. Heavy pulses of rain traveled over the same towns and cities - a process meteorologists call "training" - resulting in flash flooding in some counties to our west.
