The weather models are showing some good stuff....a milder stretch of weather developing by the weekend & into early next week and if you look way down the road, the pattern really starts to warm up in about 7-10 days (a bit far to get too excited but at least it's not showing cold/snow!!). This time of year can be frustrating due to the fact you get a couple of great days like yesterday and then a day like today where it's not as bright & not as warm. today isn't a clunker by any means, in fact, I think we will see some sun develop later this morning & into the afternoon. Temps will run cooler than yesterday though (upper 40s).
Friday will offer up a fair amount of morning sunshine but clouds will take over the sky during the afternoon as another tiny weather system zips through here during the afternoon hours. A few brief showers/sprinkles are likely in some cities & towns. Temps will reach the low 50s though---watch out for a sea breeze by midday in metro Boston--temps will quickly go from 52 to 42.
The holiday weekend is just about ideal. A big Easter basket of dry air is with us on Saturday and for the first half of Sunday. Saturday sunshine will push temps into the mid 50s and Easter Sunday will also see high temps reach the mid 50s. **Sea Breeze Disclaimer**..........this time of year, that ocean is mighty cold (low 40s) and that means that chilly ocean air will invade coastal cities & towns at times. This weekend (Saturday more than Sunday) will offer a chilly sea breeze keeping temps in the 40s along the coast. Also, Sunday afternoon/evening will see clouds arrive and then showers after 5pm. Those clouds & showers will deliver warmer air into New England by Monday---high temps near 60.
