Can Only Go Up From Here

Rain and drizzle continues tonight as temperatures drop into the mid 30s to 40 degrees. Any burst of heavier precip drags down colder air, and elevations above 1000 feet in northern Worcester County or southwester NH see wet snow mixing in overnight. No shovels or plows needed for us, but it is a sure sign how cold the atmosphere is for late May. As of this writing, Mt. Mansfield in VT has picked up 7.5" of snow and Whiteface Mtn. in NY has picked up 18"!
Ok, enough about that s word, time to bring back some sun right? We'll be able to do that in bits and pieces Sunday afternoon after a damp start. I'm not promising overly warm weather, but mid to upper 50s and a mainly dry day is a lot easier to take compared to this afternoon. The wind will be active out of the northwest, gusting at times past 25mph.
Memorial Day itself is the pick of the holiday weekend. Near 70 with sunshine!
Ma Nature is a little late with summer-like weather for us, but we will feel the warmth and humidity by the 2nd half of the week. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, I have posted mid to upper 80s on the 7-day.
Have a good weekend!
