Shake It Off
Posted by Chris Lambert
From the northern New England snows to our southern New England cold and rain, it's safe to say, we need to shake off this pattern ASAP. Today is transition day as the weather improves, but, in the grand scheme of things, it still isn't exactly what we're looking for during the unofficial start of summer.
Any showers across the Cape around noon, and we're left with a drier, but windy day. Clouds beat out the sun, but we'll catch enough breaks in the overcast to warm us up into the mid to upper 50s. Add in a NW wind gusting 30-35mph and the sweatshirt is still needed, but at least we can grill! Although, the wind may blow that flame out... keep an eye on it.
Much nicer weather arrives on Memorial Day with sunshine, a bit of a breeze, and temps near 70.
If that's not warm enough... mid 80s to 90 surge in here Thursday, into next weekend. The greatest risk of storms this week will be on Wednesday with the warm front that'll move through to deliver those beach weather temps.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
