Better Late Than Never

Better late than never. Sunshine for the entire day will save face on the Holiday Weekend weather. That sunshine will quickly warm things up this morning as temps soar through the 40s & 50s and reach the lower 70s by afternoon. Still a bit of a breeze at times for the day. Skies remain clear this evening & overnight. Those temps will be cool once again after sunset with many towns heading back into the 40s. Tuesday it's back to work & school but the weather plays out similar to today with many towns reaching the 70s for afternoon highs under mainly sunny skies.
Wednesday is moving day as we see our next chance of rain--in the form of showers & thunderstorms. These thunderstorms will move out the cool, fall-like air with summertime heat & humidity. The heat will hold off until Thursday but you'll begin to feel that humidity arrive during the day.
Thursday marks the beginning of a heat wave (3 straight days of at least 90 heat) as most towns have hazy sunshine, humid & hot conditions. This heat bubble will stay around for a few days--likely into next weekend. Summer is coming.
Thank you to those of you (or a family member, friend) that serve & defend our country.
