Fronts Vacation Here Too!
Posted by Jeremy Reiner
Rolling through vacation season with much less heat (in fact, no heat) for this week as well as a few showers scattered across New England. The reason for a few showers around is due to a cool front that moved through here Saturday afternoon and decided to burn some vacation days across the southern New England coast. This front will hang with us for the next few days.
Today, that front will only be able to produce a few clouds and perhaps some isolated showers in the Worcester hills this afternoon. This front will also create a little more humidity across the area with afternoon temps near 80. All in all, a decent summer day for the tennis courts, golf courses, playgrounds and beaches.
Tomorrow, that front becomes re-energized with all sorts of clouds and showers. I think these showers will be around for much of the day and scattered across most of New England (perhaps the beaches only have just a few showers versus widespread showers in western MA). Once again, humidity is around with daytime highs in the low 80s.
By Wednesday, a whole new front sweeps into New England. This front won't spend any extra time here as it sweeps Tuesdays clouds/showers out to sea early in the day. Humidity will also get swept out to sea with daytime highs in the low to mid 80s. #FantasticDay.
Enjoy your week!
