Here We Go Again

Here We Go Again--C-3PO..Return Of the Jedi. The shiny metallic one speaks the truth as yet another lil winter storm takes a swipe at us today. Like yesterday, this won't be a blockbuster but rather a continue step into winter storm with a 5-7 hour burst of snow. Here are the storm deets:
*Arrives between 9:30-10:00am and departs between 4:00-4:30pm.
*Coating to 4" of snow..lightest amounts MA/NH border--1-2" Worcester/Boston----3-4" across SE Mass.
*Some travel disruption is likely midday & afternoon especially south of the MA Pike.
*Light & fluffy snow for shoveling & plowing.
That's the storm in a nutshell. Tonight the storm departs taking the flakes & clouds with it and also allowing bitter arctic air in the Midwest to head this way for the rest of the week. Sun shines tomorrow through Friday but daytime temps will stay pinned down in the 20s---some 15-20 below normal for this time of year!
By the weekend, another storm takes aim on New England and the weather models are suggesting this will be a bigger storm...a storm that starts as snow then goes to sleet/freezing rain & rain. As of now, it does look like a plowable snow for much of New England late Saturday Night-early Sunday morning.
