Weather on Simmer

We were close today. Highs made the upper 80s, but from what I can gather from our weather spotters, there were no 90s. (And no, car & bank thermometers don't count.)
So for this warm spell, it appears a heat wave is out of the cards. No matter. We're still in the hot seat for the next two days. Highs should hover near 90 through Thursday. Nothing new there, but from what I see, the humidity will NOT be unbearable both days. Just a little uncomfortable Thursday as a front approaches.
Speaking of, there may be a better chance for a passing storm or a few downpours on Thursday/Thursday night. The front is looking a little juicier and with its slow movement, we'll be under it for a longer time. I've upped the chance from 40% to 50%. Still not a slam-dunk, but it's a step in the wetter direction.
Moon's up tonight, and although it won't appear blue, it gets the billing by fulfilling one of the two definitions:
Now the reason it's the 3rd full moon and not the 4th is because in the 'old days' they used to designate each seasonal moon as the early, mid and late moons. Since the third moon is neither the middle or the late, it was called the blue moon.
Blue, green, red...Ozzy apparently still barks at them.
