What a winner!!
Sun went to work early this morning thanks to a steady westerly breeze. That gave us a jump on the day and resulted in a fine summer redux:
I won't say this is the last time we'll see the 80s for the season (year), but they'll certainly be exceptional from here on out. 70s are another matter. If we stay on the warm side of things, we could even see them in December - as we have in years past.
Fear not, they're back tomorrow with a good supply of sun. Clouds will approach though as a front remains stalled overhead.
Typically, this front would mean a good chance of rain and some gloomy times ahead. However, this time around, the atmosphere is a little short on moisture. The end result? Just a few spotty, passing showers or sprinkles. Oh, and a whole lotta clouds.
Temperatures continue their slide into the weekend. Highs will struggle to meet 70 both Friday and Saturday thanks to the clouds and onshore wind.
All in all, a whole lot of indecision: no soaking rain, and not a lot of sun.
It's never too early to get it going, so.....
