All About The Recovery

Both in weather and in sports today, it's all about the bounce back.
Mother Nature did her job today as after a cold start this morning, when many towns fell in the 20-25 degree range, we managed to climb into the mid to upper 50s this afternoon. The warm-up was helped out by the southwest direction of the wind, although the speed at times was a bit much, gusting over 30mph. Alright, now it's time for the Sox to bounce back tonight in St. Louis after a tough game 2!
Tonight won't be nearly as cold around here thanks to a southwest wind, more clouds and even a spot shower. Lows fall to a few degrees either side of 40.
Clouds and spotty showers are long gone by tomorrow morning, allowing for a bright start to Sunday. However, I do expect more clouds to mix in with the sun midday and into the afternoon. The breeze is active out of WNW, but not as strong as todays. It'll gust 20-25mph at times. Overall, it's great late October tailgating weather at Gillette as we "squish the fish!" (I know, mammal right? Work with me here, just a sayin'). Highs on Sunday are similar to today, and that means a lot of mid 50s.
Monday comes close to 60 before a cold front oozes through here at night. That sets up a chilly Tuesday and Wednesday.
Halloween right now looks mild with highs in the lower 60s! Friday reaches the mid to upper 60s with a gusty southerly breeze and rain arriving late.
Go Sox! Go Pats!
