Of Warmups and Dry Spells

What a rebound today! Almost as remarkable as the story that surfaced about Andy Kaufman faking his death.
OK, maybe not that big (if it's true).
But believe me when I say that this warmup has legs now, and we'll enter the weekend on an above normal tick.
Tomorrow's looking like the last time we'll have a chance to meet (or eclipse) 60. A subtle (but weak) weather system will kick some clouds our way into the weekend. Combined with a sea breeze, we should hover in the mid 50s - perhaps low 50s right at the water's edge.
Showers are in the forecast Monday as a front approaches. Gusty winds will boost us near 60, but unfortunately, the wet weather will be inconsequential to our drought...which officially deepened today according to the US Drought Monitor:
Like many, I'm just waiting this out. Eventually, our pattern will shift and we'll be back in the firehose. Heck, if past history is any example, one nor'easter and we'll be bailing again.
Enjoy the sun tomorrow.
